Max's Art Club

Max is an artist from Australia.

He has always really been into two things. Painting and connection.

Max's art journey began as young child while living in Tokyo. Exposed to art almost everywhere, Max began to create, and on his family's return to Perth this continued.

In his final year of High School, inspired by David Hockney’s swimming pool series, Max created 'City Beach on Sunday', a suburban backyard painting, chosen to headline an exhibition in the Art Gallery of Western Australia.

Encouraged by norm and the advice of everyone, Max enrolled in university to study law.

While in law school Max independently held his debut solo exhibition of 15 oil paintings, honing his style and garnering the attention of Perth collectors.

Despite this, following law school, Max accepted a position at a leading international law firm.

Over the next two years, alongside practicing law, Max created 'For the Love of Something'. Following which, Max had an internal calling to pursue art, and began painting full-time from April 2025.

Since then, Max's practice has developed, seeing him create a series of pieces, take up residencies and travel to deliver projects to collectors around the world.

Max's latest creation is Max's Art Club, a first of its kind interface to showcase art, start conversations, and build community.
